Hi Friends,
Today I want to address climate change. Even though climate change is a matter that isn’t strictly in the sector of finance and business, there are going to be significant effects on the economy if we don’t do something soon. There are also a lot of climate and energy stocks and those are expected to have significant change soon.
A lot of people thinking about global solutions for fixing or improving the status of climate change, and everyone always says to find some big tech solution. There is always talk of creating some new technology to cure climate change as a whole. This view of how things will be done is extremely unrealistic.
The view is very unrealistic because this technology would take multiple decades to build, test, and have it up and running. Also, we have much easier solutions that could be implemented worldwide. I am in favor of these plans because they are a lot easier to implement from both a time perspective and a financial perspective.
If we tried creating technology to do the work we need to do it could cost hundreds and thousands of dollars. This could involve increasing the US debt to build this big technology. Especially since we need to resolve the debt situation soon. I think we should try to resolve this big problem with some smaller solutions.
A proposal could be trees. One of the original problems of climate change is the fact that there is too much C02 in the atmosphere. A possible solution could be to do a global tree-planting campaign. This could potentially add hundreds of thousands of trees which can suck up a lot of the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

Also, let’s invest in renewable energy. Let’s start more renewable energy companies to make renewable energy more widespread. We could try to harvest as much renewable energy as possible. This could also help support the climate. Also, it could be helpful to invest in these companies as these companies will be going up in the future as these businesses become more relevant.
I feel that it is necessary to talk about this in a finance newsletter because Climate Change is an urgent issue. If we don’t address this our country and the world could be in serious trouble. The US’s financial situation would not be good once the worst effects of climate change come into view.
Anyway, back to the planting tree campaign. It would not cost that much to start and we could have a system that offers monetary benefits to people who help. This would encourage people to contribute by planting a tree or multiple trees. A lot of people would enjoy the bit of extra compensation given for planting the tree. It would also boost the economy a good amount.

In the US we already have a system for rewarding citizens who contribute solar to the power grid. They pay you $4.00/ S-unit. We could also have a system for people who plant trees and suck carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. This would be a huge step to solving climate change and generally be pretty cheap to be effective.
Another idea that has been proposed that is a good solution in theory is the Carbon Tax. This idea revolves around the fact that a lot of businesses use carbon to power their operations. The carbon tax will tax businesses and people who use carbon for energy or other processes. This would cut down the amount of people who use carbon everyday. Also, electricity companies would only use renewable sources as it would save them a lot of money.
